Vinai Gondi, MD, is the Director of Radiation Oncology at Northwestern Medicine West Region and Co-Director of the Brain & Spine Tumor Center at Northwestern Medicine Cancer Center Warrenville. He specializes in the management of brain, skull base and spinal tumors, and his research focuses on developing and testing novel radiotherapeutic approaches. He has served as Principal Investigator on 6 NRG Oncology clinical trials and approximately $1.5M in NIH funding, and his research on hippocampal avoidance has changed clinical practice.
